Streak insurance and streak repair are now live

Until now your online streak has been all or nothing. Miss a single day and the whole streak was gone overnight. You can now protect your streak in advance and buy it back if it breaks.

Streak insurance is available in the Points trade for 15 points each, and you can have up to 2 equipped at a time. If you forget to log in one day, one insurance is used automatically and your streak survives the night. You get a message in your log when that happens, and a used insurance has to be bought again.

If a streak of 7 days or more breaks because you were not logged in, you get an offer to repair it for 50 points. The offer lasts 48 hours. It shows up as a banner at the top of the page, as a broken heart in the right-hand menu and on My page. Days you have built up again after the break are kept when you repair, and your achievement progress updates automatically. Two insurances cost less than one repair, so it pays to be prepared.

You can also get an evening warning when you have not logged in that day and your streak is about to break at midnight. Turn on Push notifications under Settings, and send a test notification to check that it works. On iPhone and iPad you first need to add the game to your home screen.

The warning is on automatically from a 30-day streak, and you can set "Warn me when my streak is at risk" to Automatic, On or Off. Push notifications also cover tournaments you are registered in for Texas Hold'em.
