Kill The Bot: more rounds a day and shared rewards
We have rebalanced Kill The Bot from the ground up. The two most important changes are about who gets rewarded, and who gets to take part. The biggest news is that rewards are now shared by damage. Both the kill EXP and the loot you take from the bot are split among everyone who damaged it, in proportion to how much damage each player dealt. Previously everything went to whoever landed the final blow, even when others had done most of the work. Now you are paid for your effort even when someone else takes the last shot, and you can see your own share in the kill message, in the chat and in your log.
Each round can also have its own rank range. That means lower-rank players can get rounds of their own where they no longer have to compete against the top players, while the high ranks have theirs. If you fall outside a round's rank range, you still see the bot and the chat, but you are told which ranks the round is reserved for.
On top of that, we can now run several rounds back to back on the same day, each with its own bot, prize and EXP. On the Kill The Bot page and in the FAQ you will find the list of scheduled Kill The Bot rounds with one row per round and its own Rank column, so you can quickly see which round suits you.
Check the schedule, find the round that matches your rank, and join the hunt.
